    • How do I record surebets and Middles in the Bet Tracker?

Click Add to PT in the calculator once all bets are placed, or add the operation by hand with Add: choose the SureBet category and the matching type, 2-Way, 3-Way or Middles, then enter the sportsbooks, odds and stakes.

When the game is over, open the entry, click Settle Bet and choose the winning outcome. The actual profit replaces the expected one, and the Balance Tracking tab updates each sportsbook's balance, which helps you spot accounts running low.

    • How do I read the returns in the Middles tool?

Each row covers three scenarios: only Bet 1 wins, the middle hits and both win, or only Bet 2 wins.

The middle return is the potential reward; the side returns are what it costs you if the middle doesn't hit. A Middle is more interesting when the side losses are small, the middle return is high, the middle range is realistic, the odds are recent and both sportsbooks accept the stakes.

The highest middle return isn't automatically the best row: also judge how likely the middle is.

    • Can a Middle lose money?

Yes, if it's a negative Middle. There are two kinds:

      • Positive Middle: the normal outcomes still give a profit or at least no loss, and hitting the middle pays much more. These are rare.
      • Negative Middle: the normal outcomes give a small loss, say $3, while hitting the middle pays much more, say $90.

A negative Middle is a calculated risk, not a locked margin. Before betting, check what happens if only Bet 1 wins, only Bet 2 wins and both win, and decide whether the possible loss is acceptable.

    • How are Middles different from surebets?

A surebet aims for the same locked result whatever happens. A Middle aims for a scenario where both bets win, with a controlled downside when they don't.

So a Middle can pay much more in one specific outcome, but it doesn't lock a profit in every scenario. Some are very close to a surebet; others lose a little if the result misses the middle.

That's why you always look at the full position, not just the maximum profit.

    • What is a Middle?

A Middle is two bets on different lines of the same event that overlap, so the result can land in between and both bets win.

Example: Over 44.5 points at one sportsbook and Under 47.5 at another, both at +100 with $50 each. At 44 or fewer, or 48 or more, one bet wins and covers the other: $0. At 45, 46 or 47, both win: $200 back from $100 staked.

Middles show up on totals, point spreads and alternative lines, wherever sportsbooks offer different lines.

    • Why are rows above 100% locked in the Bet Finder?

Because rows above 100% are surebets, and they belong to SureBet Premium. Matched Betting Premium covers every row up to 100%, which is all you need for sportsbook promos.

      • Matched Betting Premium only: rows above 100% show a padlock in the Bet Finder; set the Rating (%) filter to 100 to hide them.
      • SureBet Premium only: your surebets are in the SureBet Finder, with every sportsbook.
      • Both products, or the Everything plan: no padlocks anywhere.

If you see a padlock below 100%, log out and back in, or refresh.

    • Why do my sportsbook balances get uneven after surebets?

Because the winnings land in one account while the losing stake leaves another. Bet $100 on Team A at Sportsbook 1 and $95 on Team B at Sportsbook 2: if A wins, Sportsbook 1 grows and Sportsbook 2 shrinks.

The overall result is still the locked margin, but after many surebets one account can pile up money while another runs low.

Fix it by rebalancing: withdraw where there's too much and deposit where you're short, keeping withdrawal times and payment limits in mind. Don't empty every account right after a win.

    • How many sportsbook accounts do I need for SureBet?

There's no fixed number, but more helps: the more sportsbooks you can use, the more surebets you can access, while users relying on only a few accounts have far fewer options.

Surebets appear between many different pairs of sportsbooks and disappear quickly, so the accounts need to be verified, funded and ready before an opportunity shows up.

Account limits matter here too: over time some sportsbooks may cut your stakes, which reduces the opportunities you can still use.

    • How much bankroll do I need to start with surebets?

There's no single right amount; it depends on your stake size and the sportsbooks you use.

A smaller bankroll is enough to learn the process with low stakes: the profit per operation is just smaller. A medium one lets you keep balances on several sportsbooks without constantly waiting for withdrawals and deposits. A larger one raises your potential, but limits, poor balance distribution or mistakes can still hold you back.

Match the bankroll to your experience and to the amount you can manage carefully.

    • One of my sportsbook accounts was limited or closed. What can I do?

First, know which kind it is: a promo ban, stake limits, a verification hold or a closure. Even after a closure, the cash balance must still be paid to you; bonus funds with unfinished playthrough are usually forfeited.

Ask the sportsbook's support in writing for the reason and for your balance. A limited account can still be useful for the recurring promotions it keeps receiving.

Never open a new account with someone else's details: that's multi-accounting and gets every account closed.

    • How can I lower my chances of getting limited?

Make your account look less like an arbitrage calculator:

      • round stakes slightly ($48 instead of $47.83)
      • don't always bet the maximum
      • be careful with very high-margin surebets
      • prefer popular markets and major events
      • don't use only obscure leagues or small markets

None of this removes the risk, but it helps protect your best accounts and extend their useful life. Think about the long-term value of each account, not only the profit of one surebet.

    • Why do sportsbooks cut the stakes of surebettors?

Because a surebettor bets only when a sportsbook's price is weak, stale or wrong, which makes that customer unprofitable for it.

In SureBet the restriction is usually on stake size rather than promos: you try to bet $100 and only $10 is allowed, on everything or on some sports and markets. Sportsbooks watch which odds you take, how often you beat the market, whether your stakes are always optimized and whether you ever bet normally.

Their rules aren't public, and no strategy can rule limits out completely.

    • Why should I be careful with very high-margin surebets?

Because the higher the margin, the more likely it comes from a clear pricing mistake, stale odds or a sportsbook error. A 1–2% surebet usually comes from normal market differences; a 10% one often doesn't.

Before placing one, check everything: that the market is right, that the rules match, that the odds are still there, and that the sportsbook isn't likely to cancel or limit the bet.

Sometimes the best decision is to skip an opportunity that looks too extreme.

    • Why does a row show a rating of 130% or more?

Almost always because something is wrong. Ratings far above normal on obscure events usually mean two different events were paired (a women's team, reserves, a doubles match) or one sportsbook's feed is showing stale odds.

Don't bet it. Hide the row and report it through the contact page with the two sportsbooks and the event, so we can correct the pairing.

Verification before betting is part of the method: the tools process millions of odds a day, and occasional errors and delays are unavoidable.

    • Can I change one stake on purpose to favor one outcome?

Yes, that's called unbalancing the stakes. In the SureBet Calculator, and in calculators opened from the Finder, you can edit a calculated stake with the arrows or by typing an amount, and every scenario updates at once.

It helps to fit a sportsbook's stake limit, the balance you actually have there, or a cleaner round amount. You can also accept less profit on one outcome to get more on another.

Review the new result for every outcome first. To go back to the balanced stakes, use Reset.

    • The sportsbook shows a lower maximum stake. Has my bet been placed?

No. A lower maximum stake is only what the sportsbook is willing to accept: nothing is placed until you confirm and submit that smaller amount.

If you haven't placed any bet yet, the safest choice is usually to skip the opportunity, or to recalculate the whole surebet starting from that maximum.

If the other side is already in, place the smaller amount and use the Bet Not Accepted section to cover the rest.

    • The sportsbook accepted only part of my stake. How do I re-balance?

Cover as much of the open side as you can, then deal with the rest. Place the smaller amount the sportsbook allows, open the calculator's Bet Not Accepted section and enter the amount actually accepted.

The calculator works out the remaining stake still needed. Look for another sportsbook with suitable odds on the same outcome and place that residual amount there.

Always start from the real odds and stake that were placed, never the original ones, and check the result for every outcome before continuing.

    • My first bet went through, then the odds on the other side moved. What now?

Don't leave the first bet uncovered. Update the odds in the main calculator: it shows the new stake needed at the new price and the result for every outcome.

Then either place the second bet at the updated odds and stake, or look for another sportsbook with better odds on the same outcome and recalculate with those.

The margin may shrink or turn into a small loss. Closing at a small loss is normal; leaving one side open turns a surebet into a gamble.

    • Which side of a surebet should I place first?

Place the side that is more likely to be limited or to move first, then the other side straight after the first is accepted.

Before you start, open both sportsbooks, check that the event, market and odds match the row, and check the maximum stake accepted on that more sensitive side.

If the first bet is in and the second won't go through as planned, the calculator's Bet Not Accepted section helps you re-balance with the real amount and odds.

    • When should I use the SureBet Calculator instead of the Finder?

The Finder discovers opportunities; the Calculator works them out by hand. Use the Calculator when:

      • you found a surebet yourself, or it isn't in the Finder
      • you want to test how different odds or stakes change the result
      • you need to adjust after a stake was limited or changed

Choose Bet 1 Stake or Total Stake, enter the odds of each bet (add a leg with + for three outcomes) and read the result for every outcome. It uses only what you type and never updates the odds by itself.
