What do the columns in the Straight ValueBet table mean?
-
Each row is one possible single bet at one sportsbook:
- Sport, Date and Event: what and when
- EV: the expected value of the bet
- Sportsbook and Bet: where to bet and the selection
- Odds: the sportsbook's price
- Fair Odds: the estimated fair price of the selection
- Last Update: how recently the odds were refreshed
EV and Fair Odds tell you why the row is a ValueBet. Last Update matters because odds move fast, but still check the price on the sportsbook before betting.
